The annual conference for municipal youth department directors took place again this year in Eilat, and we were thrilled to play a significant role. For us at Education for Life, meeting the people working on the frontlines of educational action in Israel is always a highlight of connection, learning, and inspiration.
Connecting on a Real Level
During the conference, our CEO, Or Mordo, took the stage to deliver a lecture on our vision and holistic approach. Rather than a standard presentation, Or chose to do it the way we always operate: interactively, dynamically, and collaboratively. For Or, this was also a moving full-circle moment—having previously managed the Youth Department in Nesher, his deep connection to the field and true understanding of the daily challenges directors face resonated in every word. This is exactly why it was so important for us to be there and speak from real, lived experience.
Looking to the Future
The direct encounter with the directors of the youth departments was nothing short of inspiring. The open dialogue allowed us to hear closely about the needs on the ground, and in return, we received warm feedback and wonderful ideas for future collaborations. Knowing that we have such committed and professional partners within the local municipalities fills us with excitement for our joint work in the coming year.
